Mr. Waylett served as an infantryman in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne Division (AASLT) from 1987 to 1989. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1993. He received his law degree from the University of San Diego in 1997.
Mr. Waylett served as a Public Defender with the Metropolitan Public Defender and worked in private practice in Portland, Oregon from 1997 to 2000. Mr. Waylett moved to San Luis Obispo in September 2000 to accept a position as an associate with the law firm of Sinsheimer, Schiebelhut & Baggett. Mr. Waylett joined Adamski Moroski Madden & Green LLP as an associate shortly after the firm was founded in November 2001 and became a partner in November 2005. Mr. Waylett left the firm to pursue his own practice in August 2008.
Mr. Waylett is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in California. He is a former member of the State Bar of Oregon.
Mr. Waylett lives with his family in Paso Robles, California where he is active in the community having served as a member and past President of the Board of Directors of the Paso Robles Children’s Museum, a member of the Board of Directors of NCI Affiliates and the Paso Robles Wine Festival Committee. Mr. Waylett continues to be active in autism related causes throughout the central coast region.
