Tom Waylett brings more than a decade’s experience as primary legal counsel representing individuals and businesses in real estate transactions, including purchase and sales of ranch, vineyard, estate and commercial properties and related due diligence issues, as well as commercial and agricultural leasing when representing you in San Luis Obispo County as a Realtor® and licensed real estate broker.

He is determined not just to close your transaction, but to help you close the right transaction. As an experienced real estate litigator, he has the background to help you avoid problems before your transaction closes instead of dealing with the aftermath. Tom will not accept “dual agency” representations, representing buyers only in brokered transactions. He will represent only your interests in helping you determine whether any property or deal is right for you. His depth of experience provides you a rare resource to help you evaluate and acquire real property whether you are acquiring a thousand acre ranch, a vineyard, commercial building, or new home.

Unless otherwise provided, Tom’s compensation for the full range of customary Realtor® and buyer broker representation will be commission based and borne by the seller out of the purchase price in brokered transactions. You will gain Tom’s broad real estate legal experience in customary Realtor and buyer broker functions at no cost.

The full range of Tom’s legal services, including non-brokered private party transactions, remain available as necessary.
